We are pleased to announce that we have engaged with Stoke on Trent College to provide strategic support and advice on the future shape of their Digital Infrastructure and Support teams, including a full review of their current job roles, accountabilities and activities.
The review will look at the structure and competencies of the team, cyber security arrangements including backup and recovery, the mix of software and systems in use, and the digital infrastructure estate, including an independent view on a capital investment decisions and currently in-train projects.
As with our other assurance assignments, the approach combines a thorough desk-based review of existing documentation, policies and data with a focused period on-site to validate findings, inspect the physical estate and talk directly with the team and key stakeholders. This keeps time in front of the College focused on the things that can only be done face to face, while the analytical groundwork is done in advance.
Beyond the work on the structure, we will also be looking to give assurance on proposed capital projects in the Digital space, review cybersecurity posture and highlight current risks and opportunities.
The output will be a series of reports and briefing notes giving the College’s executive leadership a clear, evidence-based view of risk and opportunity across each area, along with prioritised, practical recommendations they can act on.
This is an exciting engagement, and we look forward to working with the college teams to deliver positive change.
