We are pleased to note that as part of our ongoing relationship with the Alpha Academies Trust, we are undertaking a procurement exercise on their behalf with a view to appointing a single supplier for their MFD and reprographics machines across the Trust.
At present each academy has individual contracts that have evolved over time. The aim of the procurement is to develop a partnership approach with a supplier to provide and manage the MFD fleet and the specialist equipment for reprographics and as each individual contract expires to onboard each academy into the master contract. By the mid-point of the proposed contract term it is expected that all members of the Trust will be part of the MFD managed service contract.
The procurement will utilise a framework agreement to simplify the process and ensure a bespoke but contractually straightforward outcome. The secondary aim of the process is for the chosen supplier to support the Trust in their desire to reduce print volumes over time and develop a more sustainable approach to printing.
